By fostering collaboration between education, industry, and research, the initiative aims to address urgent environmental, economic, and societal challenges. These insights will support the preparation of future project proposals (Task 2.4), ensuring GreenHost remains at the forefront of sustainable innovation.

New Training Materials for Teachers and Trainers

Deliverable D4.1 focuses on innovative training resources for educators in hospitality management and tourism. Developed with contributions from Slovenia, Greece, Italy. Portugal, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Spain, these materials integrate sustainability education, entrepreneurship, and digital tools such as gamification and virtual reality. The materials align with the European Commission's 2021 Recommendation on Environmental Footprint Methods, enabling learners to adopt greener practices in real-world contexts. By linking theory with practice through project-based learning, internships, and industry collaboration, GreenHost prepares students and professionals to lead the shift toward sustainable tourism.
