Fondazione di Partecipazione Turismo Responsabile AITR ETS has been working since 1998 to promote and disseminate the culture, principles, and practices of sustainable and responsible tourism. It fosters positive interaction among local communities, travellers, and tourism operators, while supporting the development of its members.

The Foundation brings together tour operators, environmental organizations, NGOs, cultural associations, cooperatives, hospitality providers, and service companies. This diversity of stakeholders has given rise to a well-structured organizational framework, including working groups, committees, and both individual and collective responsibilities. Its heterogeneous and increasingly diverse membership encourages lively and constructive dialogue, fostering knowledge sharing and a plurality of perspectives.
